Distance Reiki

Distance Reiki works according to the hermetic law of similarity which holds that we are all connected, as we are all energy matter and part of a larger whole. As such, invoking this law can object to the energy field of the recipient, I typically ask and use a photo along with a crystal.

We all have access to this life forever energy, otherwise known as our Chi, Qi or prana, as it flows through each and every living being. Distance Reiki provides just one of the many ways to link to and channel this energy for the healing benefit of others.

Crystal Reiki

The session itself is similar to a Reiki treatment, except crystals are used. A crystal grid is made and crystals are laid on the body in alignment with the chakras. The combinations of crystals and Reiki is an energetic marriage resulting in healing. Energy blockages and stagnation are easily cleared by this powerful duo. The recipient feels lighter, calmer, centered and relaxed.

Reiki – “The Energy of Everything”

Science has already shown that everything has energy in it – a plant, a tree, every item in this room, the city, the world, the Universal Energy makes not just humans, but worlds, function. It is the fuel that drives humans and gives structure and purpose to life.

So why do we need the practice (modality) of Reiki? Envision a free-flowing river. This radiant river is like energy flowing easily through and around the body. Occasionally a pebble, or even a rock, will tumble into that river, making the flow of water a little more difficult. These pebbles can be compared to the human emotions of worry, fear and anger, and each stone builds on top of the other. Soon there is only a small trickle of water in the once beautiful free-flowing river. And so it is with the energy flow of the human body. It, too, can be obstructed so much that physical pain, symptoms and disease may be experienced.

Reiki – The Modality

Reiki is also used to describe the Japanese energy healing system founded by Mikao Usui in early 20^th century Japan. The system of Reiki originally emphasized intuitive development, however, today we hear more about Reiki for “hands-on” healing of others.

During a Reiki treatment the pure flow of energy is realigned within the body. Reiki clears obstructions and strengthens the flow of energy. This helps us feel better and also helps us to feel a connection to the knowing of one’s life purpose and the most effective way of achieving it. People who use the system of Reiki are called practitioners of this system.
